A NJ State Fair/Sussex County Farm & Horse Show update:
hubs and i are once again entering our stuff into several categories at the fair this year. I'll be entering a chocolate babka and a black pepper pound cake into the baking competitions. we'll be entering all kinds of tomatoes and peppers and whatever else our garden has to offer into the open agricultural show, and i entered a collage that i made into the home ec handicrafts competition. we'll let you know how we do in all categories as soon as the results come in!
i do wish, however, that the rules and website were more clear, easy-to-understand, and user-friendly. every year i feel like i need a doctorate in confusing nonsense to wade through everything. and when you actually get there to drop your items off, they don't make it any easier!
oh well. i still love the competition!
